  • Surf & Turf Salad

We may not all gather around the table and eat together for the
holidays, but that doesn't mean we don't eat at all. Here is another
one of the dishes we had for our xmas holiday.

Artificially "aged" beef cooked medium-well to medium-rare, covered
with tomatoes, lettuce, and vinaigrette. All topped with fresh steamed
    shrimp and more vinaigrette.

  • This is what Pepper Pot Looks Like

Guyanese Pepperpot is an Amerindian dish popular in Guyana. It is traditionally served at Christmas and other special events; it is also Guyana's national dish.
Pepperpot is typically a stewed meat dish, strongly flavored with cinnamon, hot peppers, and Cassareep - a special sauce made from the Cassava root. Beef, mutton, and pork are the most popular meats used, though some have been known to use chicken. Pepperpot is popularly served with dense bread and butter, though it is equally as good with rice or roti. Versions of the dish are also served in several other countries in the Caribbean, including Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and St. Vincent

  • Chris Henry and Darrent Demarcus Williams - RIP

On January 1, 2007, Darrent Williams was shot during a drive-by
shooting, at approximately 2:10 A.M. A police spokesman said, "There
was some confrontation between a group of people in the vehicle and a
group at the nightclub." Williams was not even involved in the
altercation. It happened less than 12 hours after the Broncos played
their final game of the 2006 season against the San Francisco 49ers in
    Denver.

On December 16, 2009, Henry was involved in a car accident in
Charlotte, North Carolina, where he sustained grave injuries.
Charlotte police stated that Henry fell out the back of a moving truck
driven by his fiancee, Loleini Tonga, while they were engaged in a
domestic dispute. On December 17, 2009, Charlotte police announced that
Henry had died at 6:36 a.m. ET. No charges had been filed against his
fiancee by this date, but neither had she been cleared by the police.
